内容記述 The amendment to the Child Welfare Law promulgated on June 3, 2008, clarifies the principles to ensure the welfare of children. It was clearly stated that children are subjects of rights instead of objects to be protected. In this study, through creating a literature review matrix up to 2017, the present-day issues were delineated.
As a result, it became clear that the trend of research using “children’s rights” as a keyword is characterized by the following issues: (1) means and methods to understand children’s rights themselves, (2) actual conditions and propositions for children’s rights as objects to be protected, and (3) challenges in training to foster a conception of children.
In addition, there have been few case studies that have examined children’s rights from the
perspective of children’s specific lives and human resource development, including the childcare philosophy of caregivers and nursery centers. This suggests that there are still issues to be addressed on how to improve the quality of specific approaches and how to reflect the perspective of “children’s rights” in instructional planning.
Furthermore, we found that there have been no empirical studies on class practices and the
development and assessment of educational materials related to the training of child care providers.
